The word "marble" derives from the Greek "μάρμαρον" (mármaron). Marble is a metamorphic rock that is formed from limestone, rarely dolomites. Marble is composed mainly of crystalline calcite or dolomite. Because marble and travertine are limestone rocks, due to our weather conditions they are applicable only inside the buildings (they are not frost resistant). They are characterized by a large variety of colours and therefore are popular amongst interior material - on windowsills, fireplace mantles, bathroom countertops, stairs, shelves, etc.
The pictures below do not reflect the real colour of the stone; therefore we invite you to get acquainted with our offer directly in our company.
